CAMEO (Cathy Anna Mayer Encouraging Others) was formed in honor and memory of Cathy Mayer, who passed away due to complications of breast cancer in November of 2004. Cathy's surviving friends and family created CAMEO in reflection of the love she held for her four young children, her family and friends.
CAMEO's purpose is to raise funds for local charities who are committed to enhancing and improving the lives of children and families in need within Southwest Washington, and who are dependent upon charitable donations from the community. Annually we host an event to benefit charities in our community. We hope that with the money raised at the annual "girls night out" event, it will not only educate the attendees about the charities in need, but also help to catapult the organizations to succeed in their missions
